And Childe got a little idea. Probably she needed to be pampered today. She had been busy for a week that when she came back home from work, she would go straight to bed. Sometimes it saddened him that she ignored the cooking he made for her. But he loves his wife so much anyway, to the point that he completely left Snezhnaya and his old job at the government just for her.

And Childe who woke up way earlier than his wife made some breakfast for her. A breakfast in bed probably a good idea, Childe thought. And he did prepare everything and put it in a tray just for his wife.

“My dear, my cute kitty cat wakey wakey it’s morning already” Childe said cheerfully. He set the tray beside the bed before he approached his wife and shaking her body gently.

“Ajax, stop.” Keqing groaned and trying to go back to sleep again. But Childe did not give up.

“Come on honey, I’ve prepared some breakfast.” Childe smiled before he planted a kiss on his wife’s forehead.

“I don’t wanna eat.” Keqing sighed while she shook her head. Her stomach didn’t feel like to have any food now.

“Keqing, you skipped dinner yesterday. Eat up eat up” Childe sighed. He is shaking her body childishly again.

“Archons, Ajax…” Keqing woke up and get up from her position. She looked a little pale and Childe is definitely worried now.

“Are you sick” Childe said softly before he moved closer to his wife. Keqing shook her head.

“No, actually there is something I should tell you.” Keqing said softly. She is nervous and she grabbed her husband’s hand to calm herself down.

“Yes What is it darling” Childe asked. He moved closer to her that now they are a little too close to each other. But she did not mind it anyway.

“I have been feeling a little bit ill for few days and yesterday I went home late because I decided to have it checked to the hospital.” Keqing sighed, would he be ready to hear it

“Are you having a serious illness, dear” Childe gasped. He is just being dramatic now.

“No listen to me silly, congratulation I guess…” Keqing smiled softly at him.
“… for” Childe is completely lost, of course.

“You are going to be a father my silly Ajax…” Keqing still smiling at him. Childe is quite shocked it seems.

“For real” He made sure for the last time.

“Yes, Ajax…” Keqing nodded.

“Oh my archons Darling why didn’t you tell me earlier” Childe shouted happily like a little child. He pulled her for a hug.

“I wanted it to be a surprise…” Keqing whispered softly. She is so happy too that she hugged him back a little too tight.

“That’s sweet, but you still need to eat your breakfast” Childe released the hug and grinned at her.

“No, but since you are forcing me then I have no choice.” She sighed and smile.

“I’ll feed you then.” Childe smirked.

“Ajax, no.”
