Mint coffee　Did I forget to close the curtains
　Higuruma thinks as he opens his eyes and feels the glare of the morning sun coming in.
　His younger lover is no longer next to him.

　Slowly, Higuruma gets up, his body creaking a little, and gets out of bed.
　He looks around the small one-room apartment, but still cannot see him.

　There is no sign of a shower.
　Just as he begins to wonder where he has gone, he hears the front door open.

　Itadori came into the room, carrying a shopping bag in him hand.

"I'm home, good morning."
"Mornin. Shopping, huh
"Yes, I wanted to have a cup of coffee, but they were out of beans, so I went to the coffee shop there. And bought some sandwiches and stuff.
"Well, thanks."

　Laughing, Itadori starts boiling water in a pot on the stove.
　Higuruma scratches his shaggy head as he heads for the bathroom.

　After washing his face and doing his morning routine, Higuruma hand-combed his bouncy hair and returned to room, where the aroma of coffee was beginning to waft through the air.

　Itadori is carefully pouring hot water into a paper drip set in a glass pot.

　Sitting on the sofa, Higuruma begins to watch the news on TV, and Itadori says to him.

"There are two sandwiches, one with tuna mayo and one with egg"
"Which one do you like better, Yuji"
"I like both, so either one is fine. Do you want half and half"
"Yeah, I'll do that."

　Itadori smiles, brings two large coffee mugs and a spoon, and places them on the glass table in front of the couch.
　From him shopping bag, he pulls out a mint tablet and shows it to Higuruma.

"I'm going to try these in my coffee today"

"I saw it online and wanted to try it. But I'm afraid to try it with just mine."

　Itadori takes out a few mint tablets and puts them into the hot coffee.
　He mixes them well, dissolves them, and takes a sip, thinking it's scary.

"Haha...that's weird It's hot, but it's sooooo good"
"...Is it good or not"
"Hiromin, you're asking the same thing as before."

　Laughing loudly, Itadori hands the mug to Higuruma.
　Higuruma takes a sip of his mint coffee.

"...Surprisingly..."
"Yes This is good
"I'll put some in mine too."

　Handing the mug back to Itadori, Higuruma puts in twice as many mint tablets as Itadori.

"You're good at taking in new things," he says.
"How can you say that when you are so adaptable"

　Higuruma chuckled softly as he mixed the mint coffee.
