Asuka Clan(飛鳥一族)
is one of the oldest 鬼狩 (demon hunting) families. The origin of the family was Kshatriyas that came from India in Heian era. They possess extremely sharp eyesight and strong cardiopulmonary function.
The traditional look for most of the Asuka family is silver blond hair and sky blue eyes.

Bird Breathing
is a Breathing Style that specialize in aerial combat. It was derived from Wind Breathing. Bird Breathing has 7＋2 techniques, with an seventh one created by Washimune previous Bird Pillar.

Hinagiku is the 継子(disciple)of Sanemi Shinazukawa.

<Personality>
Hinagiku is a charming and mysterious girl with an easygoing personality.
She does things at her own pace and not easily influenced by someone else. Also she interacts with everyone(including demon) without distinction. But as a warrior, she is a ruthless killer.
She possesses enough raw talent and unparalleled skill to be called “地獄の申し子(a hell-sent child)” by her master Sanemi.
🦅told her not to allow herself to be motivated by hatred and anger (＝不動心)in order to become an excellent cold-blooded swordsman. Even if someone is slaughtered in front of her, she stays calm.This can make her appear somewhat cold and uncaring for her comrades.

Before she was born, her father Takayasu died in the line of duty( To be more precise, he was killed by 🦅)
She was adopted by her grandfather Washimune and separated from her mother as a little girl. Hinagiku was personally trained by him in the art of combat and joined the Demon Slayer Corps when she was 15.
Although the conditions necessary for being the Pillar have been satisfied, she refuses to take the position just because she want to be with🍃.

<Personality>
Unswayed by emotion, his focus is always on the best, most efficient means of achieving his goal. When his son Takayasu was posessed by a demon, it is said that he killed him in an instant.
Cool and steely, he makes both a reliable ally, and an utterly terrifying enemy.
But when he was much younger, he was quick to anger and very hot-headed.

IT’S FUCKIN’ LONG SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO READ IT

Washimune was born to a samurai family and grew up in a suburb of Edo. He spent countless hours training, preparing to take over the leadership of Asuka family. When he was 14 he joined the Demon Slayer Corps.
One day, a highly ranked samurai challenged him to duel. He "won" the match and then was accused of being a murderer and was exiled from the 藩(federal clan).
Some time later, he spent time at a dojo as a dependent. He met a shogunate retainer and became friends there.
In 1868, he participated the 戊辰戦争(a civil war between forces of the ruling Tokugawa shogunate and those seeking to return political power to the Imperial Court) with his friend. Washimune shown his courage by charging with a sword towards the bullet-firing imperial army.
He survived the war in spite of suffering grievous injuries. However, his friend committed suicide the night before the surrender.
After the war, he imprisoned a few years
but he was liberated by the Master of Mansion’s amnesty. He returned to the Corps and served as a pillar for approximately 40 years(Because until Himejima joined the corps, NO swordsman was born to rival him in strength)

　Takayasu was a boisterous, cheerful young man who enjoyed drinking & having a good time with his comrades, and was very good friends with Shinjuro Rengoku. Hi was a very ethical man with a strong sense of duty, was adored by many members of the corps.
He grew up watching his mother who were a doctor, so he gave the highest priority to human life.
