七夢伊。 眠れない人がもしいたら、彼らに寝かしつけられちゃってください。　一度はうとうととしたものの、恐ろしいイメージが脳裏を横切った気がして、私は目を開けた。
　これは、朝まで寝つけないパターンに、入ってしまったかもしれない。

　同僚たちと慰安できた旅先の、畳敷きの旅館の一室で、私は体を起こす。
　すると、少し離れた場所で眠っていた七海さんが、小さな声で問いかけてきた。

「どうしました」
「ひゃっ…すみません、起こしちゃい、ましたか」
「いえ、私も寝つけなかったので」
「…どうか、したんですか」

　伊地知さんの声まで聞こえ、私は下を向く。

　旅館の手違いとは言え、彼らと同じ部屋で眠ることになった上、安眠を邪魔するとは不甲斐ない。
　小さく溜息をつく私へ、伊地知さんが問う。

「夢さん。何かお話を、しましょうか」
