Being Sick is Annoying“I swear I wasn’t this sick this morning.”

“Yeah. This morning. Just rest, Doctor.”

“I hate being sick.”

“Nobody likes being sick. It just happened. You just need to rest.”

Rooi let out a big sigh.

“I wanna eat ice cream.”

“I will bring you one later when you are no longer sick.”

“You are so infuriating, Encio. Why can’t you a be little sweeter I am sick”

“Not that sick if you’re still able to talk so much like this.”

“Jerk.”

SilverAsh chuckled and stood up from his chair. He sat down on Rooi’s bed and started stroking her hair.

“If you promise to be a good girl and heal fast, I will give you present.”

“What am I A kid” Rooi pouted. “What’s the gift”

SilverAsh shook his head and laughed.

“I will let you do whatever you want to me.”

“Everything” Rooi blushed.

“Naughty girl. What are you thinking, hm”

“What N-no I am not thinking about anything You’re so annoying”

“If you really are not thinking about anything, you wouldn’t blush like that when I asked.”

“I am not answering you anymore” Rooi harshly pulled her blanket up until it
covered her face.

SilverAsh decided to stop his teasing. Instead, he stood up and get ready to leave the room so Rooi could have her much needed sleep. Rooi had been working without sleeping for too many days in a row and now she had to pay the price. She got fever and now the only thing she could do was lying weakly on her bed.

But Rooi held his hand, preventing him from leaving.

“Please don’t leave me alone.”

“I thought I am annoying”

“Yeah, you are but I also don’t want to be alone.”

“You can just be honest and say you want me to stay and cuddle you.”

Rooi didn’t retort and only let out a cute huff.

But that was enough confirmation for SilverAsh.

He finally took off his jacket and shoes before climbing up her bed and settled beside her. Rooi moved closer so she could nestle on his arms without a word before quickly closing her eyes.

“Rest well, Rooi. I will be here when you wake up. Everything will be fine.”
SilverAsh whispered while pulling her closer to his embrace.

It didn’t take long for her to drift off to her slumber. The last thing that she
remembered was a gentle kiss on her forehead from a certain annoying feline.
