目の前の少年がグラスの中身を見つめながら呟いた。牧歌の城の国で造られる酒はこの大陸では珍しい天然素材を使用しており、璃月を始めとした他の国のように生成プラントで育てられた原材料から造られる酒とは一線を画した味わいがある。自由を謳歌する彼らは0と1の世界の恩恵をひと齧りだけして、あとは自由気ままな彼らの神同様にのんびりと暮らしている。
神によって管理された世界で、誰も統治をしない国。統治者を置かず、神すらも冠を戴くことを良しとしなかった国は、恐らくこのテイワット大陸の中でも随一に変わり者な国であろう。
そんな酒の国の匂いを漂わせた少年の呟きを鼓膜を模した集音器で拾い上げた青年は、手の中の陶器に注がれた酒を一口飲み下し喉を潤してから、口を開いた。
