    - Everyone is human
    - I write with the lore of "John Wick" & The Continental Hotel in mind, so it's very much a パロ

    "John Wick/The Continental" パロ LB7 Aztecas1. Daybit
    - "El Àngeal"
    - Nobody knows where he came from. He just suddenly appears in Mexico & works with Tezcatlipoca.
    - Has a necklace with a wing-shaped pendant that he couldn't take off no matter how much he wants it.
    - Later known to be a victim of a notorious syndicate who brainwashed & trained him when he was young. How he could escape them was a miracle, but the remnants of the brainwash still affects him every night.
    - Made a blood oath with Tezcatlipoca.
    - Started off as very bodyguard-ish around Tez, but later grew closer to him.

    2. Tezcatlipoca
    - A crime lord dealing with many trades, including firearms, cacao, and human organs.
    - True owner of Mictlanpa Hotel but since he couldn't do business in a neutral area, he leaves the management to Tlaloc while he deals in his HQ downtown.
    - Currently training Izcalli to be his successor.
    - While he rarely fights, he still carries a Walther P38 and a tactical tomahawk under his long coat.
    - Having a prosthetic right leg doesn't hinder his fighting capability whatsoever.
    - Took Daybit under his wing when the mysterious man fought him to a draw (a super rare occurence).
    - Made a blood oath with Daybit after the latter prove himself to be able to clear the hard mission given by Tez.
    - Started off as very paternalistic with Daybit before seeing him as his equal.

    3. Tlaloc
    - "Colibrí" / "Huitzacatzin"
    - Tezcatlipoca's younger sister. Once an assassin like her brother before taking over him as Mictlanpa Hotel's manager since Tezcatlipoca still wants to continue his business.
    - Courteous, no-nonsense, and methodical. The only one she wouldn't dare to cross is her brother.
    - Initially suspicious of Daybit but slowly accepts him, although she still keeps her distance from him.
    - She may not look like it but she cares for Izcalli's well-being.
    - When not posing as the manager, she has eyes for the finest bulletproof fabrics in town and takes pride over her selection by providing elegant custom suits for her customers.
    - Making "dinner reservation" (dead bodies disposal service) is her favorite activity.

    4. Izcalli
    - "Ixiptla"
    - A young man mentored directly by Tezcatlipoca to be his successor.
    - Head of the Ocelomeh, men in suits and jaguar masks that serve as his troops.
    - His loyalty to Tezcatlipoca and Mictlanpa Hotel is so strong sometimes he gets blind-sided and Tlaloc has to remind him to stay clear-headed when serving his brother.
    - Openly cares for Tlaloc and often accompanies her when she's sorting the logistics.

HOW DAYBIT BECAME WHO HE WAS
Daybit’s father, a renowned archaeologist, discovered an ancient treasure on a Levantine archaeological site. The treasure, however, was also the target of an underworld syndicate whose name was notorious even among the crime lords. The syndicate tracked the archaeologist when he returned to his home, killed him, and kidnapped Daybit. The syndicate put Daybit in gruelling training sessions to turn him into a hitman. They also implanted a brainwashing-like suggestion into Daybit’s brain at the end of each day so Daybit would forget everything he remembered for that day; apparently a common technique among their hitmen to prevent rival groups or law enforcers from extracting information about them. But, the syndicate didn’t know that Daybit mentally fought back to keep the memory of his father. In order to keep small parts of his memory intact, he also secretly used a necklace with a wing-shaped pendant as mnemonic device. The pendant became his greatest helper in remembering blind spots in the syndicate’s headquarter and planning an escape years later.

HOW TEZCATLIPOCA LOST HIS RIGHT LEG
Tezcatlipoca was originally a member of the High Table, a council of twelve crime lords that governed the underworld’s most powerful criminal organizations. He resigned from the position due to some disputes between him and a few members of the council, but he requested to keep his Hotel Mictlanpa a neutral area for the criminals to rest since he already had an attachment to the place and the council also in fact enjoyed the amenities. In an exceptional parlay, the council approved Tezcatlipoca’s request in exchange for half of the hotel’s area and his right leg. After all, a place built by bloodshed must also be paid in blood.
