Night Time Wind-down DayTezEvery morning, when Daybit wakes up, the sunlight falls on his face.

Slender, bony fingers pushed the Marker badge and a knife made of obsidian toward Daybit. The owner of those fingers was clad in a red made-to-order suit, black coat made of the same expensive fabric as the suit was draped on his shoulders in a manner resembling a cape. Daybit was no stranger to crime lords dressing up in an extravagant style. The man before him was no exception, what’s with the necklace with the large, golden sphere pendant with a hole in the middle that hung on his neck. Everything else about him, however, gave the impression that he took his dressing-up to a high degree that it still appeared pleasant to the other party. His long, flaxen hair was tied in a low ponytail style and rested gently on his right shoulder; a contrast to the snake-like features of his face.

(DayTezDay) LB7 Duo Week Day 3: "Gaming"“Unbelieveable.”

Tezcatlipoca had been staring at the TV screen for ten minutes now. On the right side, the character of his choice still lied down motionless. On the left, Daybit’s preferred fighter stood in a picturesque victory pose. The sound of the cheering crowd blended with the background music as the fanfare went on and on.

It was a calm and silent night. An unusual night, as the Lostbelt Mexico City was always full with the hustle and bustle of its inhabitant saved for particular dates dedicated to holy rituals. It was quiet, so quiet you couldn't even hear the whisper of the wind.

That night, when Daybit went back to his resting chamber, he saw a tall figure clad in white sheet standing in the corner of the room.

Tezcatlipoca stared at the little boy who wrote on the bathroom’s wall. Tiny pieces of colorful paper were stuck on the wall and he wrote on them as fast as his little hand could manage. He was racing, against time, and against the stream of water from the showerhead that mercilessly washed away all of the papers into the drain.

FIRST CONTACT“Are you really a Doll”

In front of Daybit, the newly-activated Doll stares and blinks slowly at him. His blue eyes scan the little boy, prompting his built-in search engine to run through his memory bank. It takes him seconds to pull out the profile that matches the little boy’s.

Cracking Pots, Raining SweetsUnder the shadow of two trees and thick shrubs, Tezcatlipoca stood and watched from afar.

The house he was watching was crowded with a group of Ocelomeh. Both men and women wore clothes and headdress of many colors; the women in particular looked gorgeous with their layered skirts and jewelries. Another group of men appeared from the left. They carried a wooden pillar with a bar poking horizontally at one end to be installed in the middle of the house’s garden. A rope dangled from the bar with which a clay pot decorated in shiny stones and feathers was hanging.

We talked to little Daybit Sem Void this afternoon and he told us about the Angels who came to visit him a while ago. According to him, they were tall and as bright as a newly-changed light bulb, with one being exceptionally shrouded in darkness and emitted a sound which he could only described as a muted scream. Apparently, they had a fondness for donuts, especially chocolate-covered donuts with sprinkles on top. Failure to offer them donuts, said Daybit, would result in them taking a drastic and surprising action. The boy mumbles, “I guess that’s why they took me and Dad away. We didn’t gave them donuts when they visited us.” And yet, he was the only one to return. Perhaps the Angels thought his father knew about the secret recipe of the donuts and decided to keep him as their personal baker. There are things in this universe that we have yet to understand, and we should be grateful that we will never understand.

He ran his fingers on each of the item, checking for bumps or leak, then put it in the bag once he was sure it was in perfect condition.

The angels choose to show the vision to Daybit as he isn’t bound to human morality as a Doll yet possessing mental capability that surpasses robots and compassion for human. However, the Department of Lore’s head scientist and the leader of OOParts study team incessantly pushed for the realization of the Doll’s design until the company finally approved his proposal and created LAR1.
