Now he was the owner of one of the biggest empires of weapons and intel of the world —or at least of England— the man felt he had everything he needed.

"Uh" His comrade-in-arms left his food back on his plate —a big steak he had that day as a reward from his superiors after a mission accomplished. He focused on the words of the aspiring actor crossing his arms over his chest, looking at him with a perplexed gaze. He wasn’t comprehending at all what Norton was trying to tell him.

空き教室に監禁された遠矢正宗(正こは)　誰の目から見ても明らかなぐらい、こはるは遠矢正宗を慕っていた。こはるのクラスの担任でもある彼は苦労性過ぎるきらいがあるものの、誰にでも分け隔てなく接し相手の気持ちをよく考えて発言出来る心優しい教師だ。正宗の言葉に幾度となく励まされてきたこはるはすっかりその寛容さに敬服し、心酔といって差し支えないほどの憧れを抱いて彼の教えを聞き実りある日々を送っていた。
　しかし、古典や技術など受け持っている教科は勿論担任であるため会わない日は無いに等しいが、正宗は校内の雑務もあれやこれや常に任されっぱなしで奔走しているため、中々こはるが彼とゆっくり話を出来る時間はなかった。その度に見過ごせず手伝いを申し出るこはるだったが、いつも「悪いから」とか「こはるにそんなことはさせられない」と断られる。こはるとしてはただただ正宗の役に立ちたい、傍にいたいという一心だったが上手く想いも伝えられず人知れず悔しさを感じていた。
