　Higuruma spoke to Nanami as he sat on the couch where Nanami was sitting. In Nanami's hand was a round whiskey bonbon. It was wrapped in beautiful wrapping paper and placed in an elegant box on the desk.
"It's so unusual for you to want something sweet."
　Nanami smiled. Higuruma had just returned from work. He loosened his tie and unbuttoned two buttons of his shirt. Nanami is a little relieved when he catches a glimpse of his collarbone. It is as if he is showing his proof that he is home.
"I've been working overtime the past few days," he said, "and I'm tired, so my body is craving something sweet. I just want to get rid of some of the fatigue."
　Higuruma says with a tired look on his face.
"I see. If that will make you feel tired, please eat this chocolate."
"Thank you. I'm very happy."
　Nanami peels off the wrapper of the chocolate in his hand and puts it in True Higuruma's mouth. Nanami's fingers touched his lips. He takes a bite of the chocolate and says, "It's sweet, it tastes like whiskey."
"This is a whiskey bonbon. It was given to me, but this brand has a very strong liquor taste."
"I see. Well then... Can you put another bottle in my mouth"
"Sure."
　Nanami puts the chocolate in his mouth again. He tastes it again with a satisfied expression on his face, tasting it thoroughly. He lightly licks his finger with his tongue while eating the chocolate, but Nanami pretends not to notice.
"Nanami, give me another one."
"One more."
"One more."
"One more," he repeats, and the box of chocolates on the table is empty.
"Nanami," Higuruma called in a gentle and sweet voice and hugged his shoulder.
"I'm stumped.I think I got drunk on chocolate."
　It was obvious from his usual drinking habits that those words were a lie. But, Nanami thought such a small lie from his lover was cute.
"Hiromi, it's about time you stopped pretending to be drunk.
　Higuruma chuckled with a look of having been caught out.
"Sometimes it's good to be pampered with the help of alcohol and sweets, isn't it Fortunately, tomorrow is a holiday for both of us. The night is long. Let's take our time and enjoy it."
　Saying this, Higuruma kissed Nanami. After a while, their lips parted.
"This is the sweetest."
　Nanami looked at Higuruma, who said this matter-of-factly, as if glaring at him. Then they looked at each other and laughed.
